Microsoft Dynamics is the new global brand for the product family formerly known as Microsoft Business Solutions (Great Plains, Navision, Axapta and Solomon).
Kontrapunkt invited Christian Leifelt to participate in the development of the new logo. The objective of the project was, through a proces of systematic research, sketching and dialogue, to increase a number of valid symbols for the logo and to identify their communicative potentials and visual possibilities. We ended up having visual concepts for three possible logos that became further developed, tested for different markets through legal and trademark reviews before the executive board decided which one to use. The winning logo concept (the three arches/directions) challenges the Microsoft logo family by showing only three elements (the fourth "element" is the red colour that emerges from the other elements). The project is made for Kontrapunkt in collaboration with the rest of the Kontrapunkt team and Microsoft. |
