A changeable visual identity as barometer for the danish energy consumption.

Forskel is a danish energy research programme that funds for R&D in environmentally friendly energy technologies. The idea of the visual identity created for Forskel is to exemplify the importance of the topic by linking the field of research to the surrounding society.

The shape of the logo represents a graph of the danish energy consumption over a period and the colour changes reflects the percentage use of infinite resources and fossil fuel, respectively. For the online project portal the dynamic logo will be generated by realtime data and change each time the user enter a new page as well as the colouring of the page content will change due to the actual percentage use of infinite resources.

The project is made for Energinet.dk, an independent public undertaking owned by the Danish Ministry of Transport and energy. More info will be added when the project is further developed...
