Børnekulturhus Ama'r (children's culture house): Visual identity 2012-2013 (ongoing)
_ Børnekulturhus Ama'r is a culture house offering workshops and arrangements with professional artists and specialists in the area of music, painting, theatre, writing, architecture, dance, etc. for children 0-18 year. Since the beginning, back in 1994, the culture house has developed and transformed radically due to its users needs, interests and involvement - giving an extraordinary relation between the users and the house. In february 2013 Børnekulturhus Ama'r reopened in its new building designed by Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter in collaboration with the children of the house. The idea of the visual identity is to tie together the original culture and visions of the house with the new surroundings and future ambitions. The visual concept is structured around a few simple, but significant elements and principles that can be combined and variated with use of the expressive visual material from the artistic activities of the house. Visual identity / basic elements: Logo and logotype, alternative youth logo (bKh), pay-off, graphic elements, principles for layout, use of colours, typography and images, visualisations of the visual identity used in different medias and environments, etc. The project is developed for Bønekulturhus Ama'r and has recieved financial support from Lokale- og Anlægs-fonden, Nordea-fonden and the Municipality of Copenhagen Watch video from the opening of the new building and the lauch of the new identity. |
